ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — A man accused of abducting his 2-year-old daughter and bringing her to New Hampshire has agreed to be returned to Maine.
In court Friday, 38-year-old Gary Traynham waived extradition to Maine. He is accused of violently attacking the girl’s mother last week then fleeing with his daughter in a stolen pickup truck, triggering the state’s first Amber Alert.
Traynham was found by a hunter the next day in Milton, N.H.
