ALBANY, N.H. (AP) – A collision between a minivan and a golf cart has left a Massachusetts woman dead and a man with serious injuries.

New Hampshire state police say 33-year-old Jared Fronterio of Gloucester, Mass., was driving a golf cart with three passengers on Route 13 near Conway, N.H., early Sunday when it was struck by a Ford Windstar driven by 47-year-old David Reed of Fryeburg, Maine.

Reed was not hurt, but a golf cart passenger, 34-year-old Robin Clohecy of Groveland, Mass., was killed. Fronterio suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a Maine hospital.

Two other passengers in the golf cart suffered minor injuries.

Police say the crash remains under investigation but alcohol appears to have been a contributing factor.
