BRUNSWICK – Ron Carroll and Friends will present a concert featuring songs from yesteryear at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at Crooker Theater.

The program includes songs by Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Hoagy Carmichael, Ira and George Gershwin and other great composers of the 1930s and ’40s. Among them are “Stardust,” “Wunderbar,” “Anything Goes,” “Someone to Watch Over Me,” True Love,” “Puttin’ on the Ritz,” “Raining in my Heart,” “Over the Rainbow” and “Summertime.”

Carroll, music/artistic director, will also play several rags from his new CD, “Ron Carroll Plays Scott Joplin.”

Performing will be Neal Donovan IV, Neal Donovan V, Ann Glover, Rick Horton, Travey Kapocious, Dan Konieczko, Marcelle LaChance, Mike Millett, Judith Mitchell, Audrey Petteruti, Sandy Petteruti and Pam Tondreau, who is director. Henry Eichman is handling lighting and sound.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door. They may be purchased at Hannaford supermarkets in Brunswick and at Gulf of Maine Bookstore. Profit from the show will go to the Mid-Coast Hunger Prevention Program.

Crooker Theater is at Brunswick High School on Maquoit Street.
