LEWISTON – Northeast Bank, headquartered in Lewiston, announces the promotion of Greg Thompson of Scarborough to vice president and director of Information Technology and Facilities.

Thompson will oversee the design, installation, management and security for all of the bank’s hardware, software, telephonic and network systems. He will also oversee the facilities management program for the bank’s 18 facilities locations.

A seven-year veteran of Northeast Bank, Thompson has been instrumental in the bank’s development and execution of its strategic technology plan. Before working at Northeast Bank, Thompson performed consulting services for IT solutions and network configuration design for small businesses. Thompson recently earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix with a concentration in technology management and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Maine at Orono. Thompson lives in Scarborough with his wife and two children.
