LEWISTON – Andrew C. Ryder has been named an assistant vice president in the Technology Department at Banknorth Group Inc. in Lewiston. He will continue to provide technical business solutions and act as liaison between various internal departments in his role as system analyst with the department’s relationship and support team.

A resident of Mechanic Falls, Ryder joined Banknorth in 2001. He is a 1985 graduate of the University of Maine-Augusta and in 2002 received a bachelor’s degree in social and behavioral sciences from the University of Southern Maine/Lewiston-Auburn campus.
