RUMFORD – Funeral services for John E. “Buddy” Dewar were conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford, with the Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham officiating. Music selections were “How Do I Live” and “The Lord’s Prayer.” Words of remembrance were given by his sister, Peggy Mills. Committal services were conducted by the Rev. Virginia Snapp-Cunningham. Interment was at Demeritt Cemetery, West Peru. Bearers were Kevin LeBlanc, Will Shurtleff, Joe LeBlanc, Shon Haley, Ned Reed and Troy Mills. A reception followed the services at the home of Arline Dewar in Mexico.

AUBURN – Memorial services for Jean D. Butler were held Friday afternoon from the Memorial Chapel of Dillingham & Son with Rev. Richard Ryerson presiding and reciting committal prayers at the graveside service in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. A reception of fellowship followed the burial at the home of Gloria and Alan Theriault Arrangements by the family owned Dillingham & Son Memorial Chapel, 62 Spring St., Auburn.
