LEWISTON – The wedding of Katrina Marie Paradis and Christopher Michael Johndro was held at 11 a.m. on March 20 at the Bates College Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Jodi Hayashida officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Johndro is the daughter of Mark Paradis of Poland and Cynthia Paradis of Minot. Mr. Johndro is the son of Michael and Paula Johndro of Searsport.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an off-white gown covered with lace and pearls and she carried a bouquet of lavender and yellow roses.

Elizabeth L. Brushwein, life-long friend, was maid of honor and bridesmaids were Meghann Thompson, Heather Tripp and Meagan Field, friends.

Steven P. Johndro performed the duties of best man for his brother and ushers were Daniel Trevett and Philip Tomah, friends, and Travis Paradis, brother of the bride. Jonathan Field, friend, was ring bearer.

A reception followed at the Ramada Inn, after which the couple traveled to Aruba. The couple plans to reside in the Auburn area.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Edward Little High School and received her bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2003 at the University of Southern Maine. She is currently employed as developmental training coordinator at Community Partners Inc.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Searsport High School and attended classes at the University of Southern Maine. He is currently employed as senior customer service specialist at J.C. Penney.
