SUMNER – The wedding of Jaime Lynn Orrok and Jared P. Ranger was held at 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 16 in Sumner. The Rev. Edward Gammon officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Ranger is the daughter of Jennie and Cliff Davis of Bryant Pond and James and Jeanne Orrok of Mt. Home, Ark. Mr. Ranger is the son of Gene and Meredith Ranger of Farmington.
The bride was given in marriage by her fathers, James Orrok and Cliff Davis. Naomi Manjourides and Patricia Wentworth, friends of the bride, were matrons of honor and bridesmaids were Amanda “Daisy” Hajj, friend of the bride and Tara Favreau, cousin of the bride. Bailey Ranger, dog of the couple, was flower girl.
Mark Ranger served as best man for his brother and ushers were John Wentworth and Matt Daignault, friends of the bridegroom, Jared Davis and Kristopher Orrok, brothers of the bride, and Matt Ingram, cousin of the bridegroom. Preston Ranger, dog of the couple, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at a private residence in Sumner, after which the couple traveled to Negril in Jamaica. They are residing in Poland.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Farmington and is currently employed at Eagle Point Enterprises LLC in Portland.
The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine at Farmington and is currently employed at Seligman Data Corp. in South Portland.
