LEWISTON – The wedding of Mandy Lee Theriault and Nicholas Zielinski was held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 20 at the Lewiston Grange Hall. Pastor Eva Thomson officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Zielinski is the daughter of Sandy and Moe Poulin of Lewiston and Donald and Nadine Theriault of Palmyra. Mr. Zielinski is the son of Deirdre and Mike Newton of Buckfield and Joseph and Holly Zielinski of Florida.
The bride, given in marriage by her stepfather, wore a white strapless satin gown with beaded Venise lace on the bodice and the train, with a matching organza shawl. She carried a bouquet with massage and fall colored roses, hypericum and oak leaves.
Lynn Lowe, best friend of the bride, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Jodi Theriault, sister of the bridegroom, and Trisha Dunn, Michele Lemay and April Fraser, all long-time friends of the couple.
Tom Zielinski performed the duties of best man for his brother and ushers were Donnie Theriault, brother of the bride, John Newton, brother of the bridegroom, and Kevin Ridge and Chris Flaherty, long-time friends of the couple. Cade Chapman was the ring bearer and Lexi Trembly was the flower girl. Both are second cousins of the bride.
A reception followed at the grange hall in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled to Jamaica. They are residing in their new home in Lewiston.
The bride is a 1996 graduate of Buckfield High School and graduated from Bernard’s School of Cosmetology in 2001. She is a self-employed cosmetologist.
The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Buckfield High School and is employed at Pure Stat Technologies in Lewiston and at Brown Ship Chandlery in Portland.
