LEWISTON – The wedding of Lynzee Lynne Lemay and Shawn Adam Parker was held at 11 a.m. on July 12 at Holy Family Church. The Rev. Andrew Dubois officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Parker is the daughter of Marcel and Cathy Lemay of Lewiston. Mr. Parker is the son of Joe Parker of London, Ky., and the late Nancy Parker.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a satin gown with pearl-edged sweetheart neckline, beaded Battenburg lace accenting the gown and a Cathedral length train. She carried a bouquet of red roses and white dendrobium.
Cathy Lemay, mother of the bride, was matron of honor and bridesmaids were Kayla Gosselin, cousin of the bride, and Tess Chamberland, Andrea Jutras and Christina Martin, friends of the bride. Paige Pelletier, cousin of the bride, and Jordan Hicks, niece of the bridegroom, were flower girls.
Joe Parker served as best man for his son and ushers were Justin Lemay, brother of the bride, Mike Hicks and J.J. Parker, brothers of the bridegroom, and Adam Ouellette, cousin of the bride. Bryce Pelletier, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Lewiston, after which the couple traveled along the coast of Maine and also went to New Hampshire. They are residing in Lewiston.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Lewiston High School and attended two years of college at the University of Maine at Farmington.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of North Laurel High School and is employed as assistant manager at Yvon’s Car Wash.
