TOPSHAM – Gwen Moore, a former partner with a global management-consulting firm, has established a Topsham-based organizational consulting practice. Moore works with small to mid-sized businesses and nonprofits helping Maine leaders find viable solutions to the ongoing challenges of operating a successful organization.

After a successful 20-year career working with businesses and nonprofits around the world, Moore moved to Maine to bring “some scale to her life.” Helping organizations with their organizational strategy remains an important part of her life. “Businesses in Maine are smaller and more entrepreneurial. I enjoy working with leaders who have vision and want to make things happen.”

Moore responds to organizational challenges by providing fresh and unbiased perspective from outside the organization.

Her work falls into two broad categories. The first is organizational strategy, change management, and growth planning. The second deals with the structure of organizations and the roles and responsibilities and staffs and boards.

Moore holds master’s degrees in education and business administration from the University of Massachusetts and a master’s of divinity degree from Harvard Divinity School. She is a published author, regular business columnist for Mainebiz, and a seasoned public speaker and facilitator.
