PORTLAND – Coldwell Banker Millett Realty in Auburn announced Jan Jacques has been recognized by the Coldwell Banker Maine Alliance as the number one agent in Maine with over $16 million in closed sales during 2002.

This award was given at the Maine Alliance awards day in Portland where agents from 22 Coldwell Banker offices throughout Maine met to recognize these real estate industry leaders. Jacques’ performance in successfully assisting seller and buyer clients with their real estate needs earned her this highest honor.

She ranks as the number one individual agent (working without assistants) of all agents in Androscoggin County, according to the Statewide MLS, MREIS. She has held this position for more than 10 years.

Jacques was also recognized as being the top individual agent of Coldwell Banker Millett Realty in Auburn and was given the Excellence in Service Award for her outstanding level of production in closed sales for 2002.

She has also been recognized by the Coldwell Banker National network of real estate professionals in America with the President’s Elite Award again this year.

This award places Jacques within the top 1 percent of agents nationwide.

A consistent top producer, she is a past president of the local Androscoggin Valley Board of Realtors and was chosen as that board’s Realtor of the Year in 1989.

She is a member of the Maine Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

She was recently voted as the local area’s “Most Referred Realtor” by her peers as reported by a national real estate research company.

Jacques serves on the Board of Trustees of Central Maine Medical Center and is the alumni secretary of Edward Little High School’s Class of 1968.

She lives in Auburn with her husband, Robert. They have two grown children, Sare and Rob.
