1919 – 2003
AUBURN – Ralph C. Wyman, 83, formerly of 30 Lake Auburn Ave., Auburn, died Sunday evening at Clover Manor Health Care Facility.
He was born in Lowell, Mass., Oct. 9, 1919, the son of Charles C. and Rena (Hunter) Wyman. He was a graduate of Edward Little High School with the class of 1939. He served his country with the United States Marine Corp during World War II.
He married the former Frances C. Jaskolski on Dec. 19, 1944. She passed away on Sept. 29, 2002. He was the owner and operator of Seavey’s Store in Auburn until 1973, then became the manager of the Greyhound Bus Terminal in Lewiston until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of St. Philip’s Church, and the Auburn Small Businessmans Association. His hobbies included golfing and bowling.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathleen Blanchard of Leesburg, Fla., and Patricia Wyman of Sebago; four sons, Michael Wyman of Arundel, Ralph (Buddy) Wyman of Mechanic Falls, John Wyman of Auburn, and Kenneth Wyman and his wife Elizabeth of Auburn; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a sister, Madeline Erickson; and two brothers, Donald and Edgar Wyman.
