1952 – 2003
LEWISTON – Lark A. Theberge 51, a resident of Lisbon Road, Lisbon, died Sunday afternoon at Russell Park Manor where she had been a patient for the last two weeks, following a long illness.
She was born in Lowell, Mass., Feb. 14, 1952, the daughter of David and Norma Dowes Abbot. She was educated in the grammar schools of Lowell, Mass., where she attended high school for three years before moving to Maine and graduating from Biddeford High School in 1969. She then went on to attend the University of Maine at Gorham graduating with a degree in education in 1973.
On March 28, 1985 she married John R. Theberge in Brunswick. Mrs. Theberge was employed for 11 years as an elementary school teacher with the Durham school system. She also worked along side her husband in the Theberge family Antique business. Mrs. Theberge enjoyed her cats, collecting antiques and dolls, gardening and most of all taking care of her family members.
Survivors include her husband of Lisbon; her parents of Biddeford Pool; one son, Jake M. Theberge of Lisbon; one sister, Laurel Abbot of Biddeford; one brother, Linwood Abbot of Foxcroft, Vt.; and one nephew, Geffory Abbot of San Diego, Calif.
