1958 – 2003

LEWISTON – Thomas K. Morgan, 45, of 23 Richard Terrace, Lewiston died Wednesday, April 9, at his home.

He was born in Lewiston, July 14, 1958, the son of Lorraine Goss Szynkiewicz and John A. Morgan. “Tom” graduated from Monmouth Academy in 1976. On April 14, 1990 he married Claire S. Boileau of Lewiston.

He and his brother, Winston, ran the family owned business of Warchalowski Bros. Lumber on the Sabattus/Lisbon town line on Rt 9. He was a well known local carpenter and took great pride in his work.

He was always helping others and took on many projects to keep himself busy. His passion for children and organized sports, lead him to be involved in the local hockey programs. He previously sat on the board of the L-A Youth Hockey program. He was also a past president of the Holy Cross Youth Hockey program. He was an avid Red Sox fan and had recently discovered a passion for NASCAR racing.

He loved his family and spending time with all of them, especially his grandson, Ezra. He also loved spending time with his parents and brothers making their traditional Kielbasa sausage. He shared it with all who were dear to him. It was an annual event he loved and always looked forward to. He loved the outdoors, especially camping with his family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have known him.

He is survived by loving wife, Claire S. Morgan of Lewiston; his daughter, Michelle L. Morgan, and son Nicholas K. Morgan, both of Auburn; his stepson, Christian B. Boileau of Portland; his grandson, Ezra Thoma of Auburn; his parents, Lorraine and Leo Szynkiewicz of Litchfield; his brothers, Winston Morgan and his wife Shirley of Sabattus and Jack Morgan and his wife Lisa of Auburn; his stepsisters, Laurie Noble and her husband John of South Windham and Martha Sumner and her husband David of South Portland; his nieces, Shannon Roy, Allyson Noble and Lyndsey Sumner; his nephews, Joshua Roy, Jason Morgan and Benjamin Noble; his mother and father in-law, Normand and Gisele Lavoie of Lewiston.

He was predeceased by his uncle, Henry Warchalowski.
