- Bob Dam of Lewiston caught this 18½- inch brook trout at Worthley Pond in Peru on Jan. 23. Dam caught the fish, which was approximately 3½ pounds, while jigging with a worm. Dam said that it’s the biggest brook trout that he’s ever caught, and he has been fishing in the Allagash for 50 years.
