Meet the 10 western Maine boys soccer players to watch in 2025

Lewiston leads the way with three players on the list of top returners.

Class A North should again feature some competitive teams from the Sun Journal’s coverage.

Edward Little-Lewiston and Monmouth-Mt. Abram are among big clashes in Sun Journal’s coverage area this fall.

While the Ramblers and Raiders lost top players to graduation, both are expected to be near the top of the Class D South standings in 2025.

The 10-player list of key players in the Sun Journal’s coverage area list includes two apiece from Edward Little and Monmouth.

Four underclassmen and three state champions are included on this year’s all-area squad.

Varsity Maine All-Staters Carmen Crockett and Kyeria Morse highlight the list of the area’s best players.

State championship weekend causes shuffling but not a shakeup in the final rankings of the spring.

The Mustangs take advantage of walks, errors and passed balls to capture their fourth state championship.

Class A features teams looking to end title droughts.
