1963 – 2015
BOSTON, Mass. — Mark D. Bourassa, 52, of Lewiston, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 21, at Massachusetts General Hospital, due to a brief illness.
He was born on Sept. 27, 1963, in Lewiston, the son of Arthur and Roberta (McCaslin) Bourassa. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1983.
He was an employee of Packgen in Auburn, where he has worked for the past 19 years.
For the past 24 years, Mark was an avid dart player for the Central Maine Dart League, and for the past two years, he played summer darts at the 20M Club, of which he was a member. He was also a member of New Auburn Social Club.
Mark loved fishing, sporting events and being anywhere near the ocean and the mountains of New Hampshire.
He is survived by his mother, Roberta of Lewiston; daughter, Katie of Lewiston; two brothers, Matthew Bourassa and wife, Laurie-Ann, of Auburn, and Luke Bourassa and wife, Shirley, of Lewiston; two nephews, Griffin and Evan; and one niece, Amanda.
He was predeceased by his father, Arthur Bourassa.
The family would like to thank Massachusetts General Hospital for all that the staff did for Mark — they’ll forever be grateful.
