DOVER-FOXCROFT — Foxcroft defeated Oak Hill 27-0 Saturday to set up a Class D state title game matchup with Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale.
Jesse Drury scored three touchdowns, including an interception return for a score, for the top-seeded and undefeated Ponies (10-0). Gideon Topolski scored Foxcroft’s other touchdown.
The fourth-seeded Raiders (5-3) had two long drives in the first half, including one right before halftime that ended with a turnover on downs near the goal line. Oak Hill also drove into the red zone in the second half, but an interception by Foxcroft’s Caden Crocker ended the threat.
Running backs Caden Thompson and Tiger Hopkins shouldered most of the offensive load for the Raiders.
Winthrop/Monmouth/Hall-Dale beat Freeport 28-19 in the other Class D semifinal Saturday.
The Ponies dealt the second-seeded Ramblers (7-1) their only loss of the season, 24-14, on Oct. 22.
