I write in support of Janet Mills for governor. I support her because she has acted with consistent integrity and wisdom as attorney general of Maine, in the face of constant belittling and attacks from the current governor.
I have no doubt that integrity in that position will translate to integrity as governor.
I support her because she will follow the law of the state and expand Medicaid to cover the estimated 70,000 Mainers who currently have no health insurance. I support her because, unlike Shawn Moody, she does not have business interests that can cause conflicts of interest.
Janet Mills is through and through a public servant and that is what is needed in government.
