LEWISTON — Mr. Alan Gerace, 70, died Sunday, Feb. 25, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston. He resided on Hall Hill in Rumford.

Born in Deferiet, N.Y., Jan. 19, 1948, he was a son of Thomas and Agnes (Adams) Gerace. Alan graduated from John Bapst Memorial High School in Bangor and the University of Maine at Farmington. He worked for Comsat Satellite Station in Andover, and then was a vendor for Motorola, selling and servicing two-way radios to businesses throughout the area.

Alan was an avid gardener, he loved music, working on computers and loved living independently.

He is survived by his companion of many years, Claudia Reynolds, of Rumford; his brother, Lawrence Gerace, of San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Karen Dobbin, of Florida; and two very special friends, Sonya and Dewey Robinson of Rumford.
