LEWISTON — Voters here supported Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump for president by a vote of 8,189 to 7,301, according to unofficial results from the city clerk.

Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson received 942 votes and Green candidate Jill Stein 236 votes.

In the hotly contested District 2 race, Lewiston voters supported Democratic challenger Emily Cain over Republican Bruce Poliquin by a vote of 8,981 to 7,522.
