CHESTERVILLE — Voters on Tuesday elected Tiffany Estabrook to complete the remainder of a three-year selectman seat.

Tyler Jenness won a seat on the board as a write-in candidate. He will complete the remainder of a one-year term.

The two seats were vacated when David Archer and Anne Lambert resigned last September.

Estabrook received 315 votes while Steve Welch received 304 votes for the remainder of Archer’s term.

No one submitted papers for the remainder of Lambert’s one-year term. Jenness received 70 write-in votes and Maitland Lord 61.

Town Clerk Heather Wheeler said there were lots of blank ballots and 17 other write-ins.
