Don’t blame the editor. This is a response to Donald Dubuc of Minot (Dec. 6).
The editor has to inquire of all letters concerning city politics. His note was information he received from the bowels of City Hall, where the real truth will never make it to the taxpayers. They don’t want us to know the truth. It would probably start a revolution.
Thanks for siding with me, though. I was a 28-year veteran employee of the city of Lewiston. I know what is going on.
Check the salaries we have to pay these people to run a dead city. Check Auburn’s. They don’t get anywhere near Lewiston’s, and they have a lot going on.
Just look at the for sale signs. This will tell the story.
My wife and I tried to Christmas shop in Lewiston. Wasn’t going to happen. We really have nothing left but ridiculous property taxes.
I hope the re-elected mayor can back-up his “enough is enough ” slogan.
