FARMINGTON — A New Sharon man who rolled his vehicle at the intersection of Fairview and Middle streets early Friday morning faces a charge of leaving the scene of an accident, police said.
Nathan Watson, 21, suffered minor injuries in the 2:20 a.m. accident, Farmington police Chief Jack Peck said.
Watson apparently was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital by a private car from the scene of the 2:20 a.m. crash, Peck said.
Watson was driving a 2001 Ford Focus south on Fairview Street near the intersection with Middle Street. He told police a deer ran out in front of him and when he tried to avoid it, he rolled the vehicle. He was alone in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Alcohol was involved in the accident, according to investigating officer William Tanner.
