Season outlook: This year’s Patriots return the entire outfield, shortstop, first base, and catcher. Pitching ace Hubbard, whose wins included a 2-0 victory over Falmouth, will be missed. The challenge this season will be how quickly this relatively inexperienced group of hurlers can step up and compete at the varsity level. Augmenting the pitching and defense, the Patriots hope to be a formidable presence offensively, pressuring opponent defenses with solid hitting and aggressive base running.
