POLAND — Tri-Town exploded for nine runs in the third inning to crush Brunswick, 15-4, in Zone 3 American Legion baseball action Thursday.

Tri-Town pounded out 14 hits, led by two apiece from Kaleb Bridgham, Lucas Johnson, Billy Rascoe and Jake Simard. Bridgham and Johnson hit back-to-back homers, while Johnson added a double. Matt Rabasco and Shawn Murphy also doubled for Tri-Town. Ian MacFawn picked up the win, going all five innings.

Ryan Maciejewski tripled for Brunswick, while Will Bessey, Brady Larson and Josh Goddard added doubles.

Locke Mills 6, Windham 3

BETHEL — Gavin Arsenault fanned eight and allowed on three hits as Locke Mills double-up Windham, 6-3, in Zone 3 American Legion action.

Chad Snowman led Locke Mills (2-3) offensively with three hits and two runs batted in. Tyler Frost and Kaine Hutchins each chipped in with a double. Josh Dugas and Zach Alpern doubled for Windham (0-2).
