The library will hold a series of Primetime Adventures featuring travels to exotic places, little-known historical moments and awe-inspiring art work. This collaborative series of programs with Senior College kicks off with Michael Everett discussing an art movement that began in our neighbor to the north.

The story of Canada’s Group of Seven provides an excellent starting point for art appreciation. The group was a regional Toronto art movement of the early 20th century that created a Canadian national style of landscape painting, a style that continues to influence how Canadians and the world imagine their country.

Everett’s oil paintings may be seen at the Maine Street Gallery in Norway. For upcoming programs, visit www.auburnpubliclibrary.org.
