Carroll Chapman, commonly known as “Conjuring Carroll” by area children, offers packets of sunflower seeds to children in the Rumford Elementary School summer program Wednesday afternoon as part of a magic trick. Chapman performed in front of dozens of children and parents in the community room of the Rumford Public Library.
As part of his finale Wednesday afternoon at the Rumford Public Library, magician Carroll Chapman, commonly known as “Conjuring Carroll” to area children, turned a stuffed rabbit into a live one. The packed room of children and parents asked Chapman repeatedly how he did it, but he simply smiled and shook his head.
