FARMINGTON — A Peru man was indicted Wednesday on charges he broke into Ron’s Texaco in Phillips and Skoolhouse Variety in Weld in April 2012.
A Franklin County grand jury indicted Anthony Scott, 30, on two counts each of felony burglary, felony theft by unauthorized taking and two counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief.
The grand jury charged that Scott took money from Ron’s Texaco on Route 4 in Phillips on April 11. He is charged with damaging or destroying a door on the property.
Scott is also accused of breaking into Skoolhouse Variety on Route 156 in Weld and taking money, cigarettes and energy drinks on April 11.
