SUMNER — The monthly “Evening at Open Sky Farm” series will continue on Saturday, Aug. 18, with a night of music, food, dance and art hosted by Johnny Crashed and the Rednecks of western Maine.
Also performing will be the Lazzlo Family Band of Portland, Rob Skelton and Pitchfork of Massachusetts, Deqhaun Lambata of Westbrook, Nevaeh Dance Company and the Wacky World of Jack Gentempo.
Evening highlights include a screening of Johnny Crashed and the Rednecks’ new video, “Everybody Wants to Be King,” and a shooting of a new video, with festival attendees welcome to participate. If interested, bring a suit or outfit appropriate for church.
Gates open at 4 p.m. for family swimming, games, face-painting and more. The Redneck and Rasta Cafe will put on a barbecue at 5 p.m., followed by live music at 7 p.m.
