WILTON – Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man they are ready to charge with robbery after a Wilton man was injured in an armed robbery Friday night on Curve Street.

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating Robert “Bobby” Judd, 32, of Livermore Falls, Wilton Police Chief Heidi Wilcox said Tuesday morning. 

Judd neglected to turn himself in yesterday as he said he would, she said.  Wilton Sergeant Richard Billian then secured the warrant charging Judd with a felony count of robbery.

Police have also located the vehicle used in the robbery. It was found in Rumford with help from the Rumford police, she said. 

Judd is known to frequent the Rumford and Lewiston areas.

Police continue their investigation and would appreciate the public’s help. Anyone with information about Judd or the robbery is asked to call the Wilton Police Department at 645-3876.

Another man being investigated for a connection with the incident has been located. Wilcox said results of their investigation would determine whether charges are made against him.
