PARIS — On Saturday, July 23, Celebration Barn Theater will present Daniel Stein in “Timepiece,” a theatrical production dealing with the passage of time in a man’s life.

The performance also shows how conflict and power and, subsequently, joy and love emerge from time’s progression.

The Los Angeles Times described the show, which opened on off-off Broadway in New York, as “one of those rare revelatory experiences one waits for in the theatre.”

Stein has since performed in more than 30 countries, most notably at festivals in Singapore, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Budapest and London. He also has had the distinction of playing extended runs and performing at the Lincoln Center.

Besides performing, Stein directs and teaches, having worked at prestigious colleges and theaters, including Brown, Sarah Lawrence and Trinity Rep. His work has been written up and praised in several physical theater books.

“Timepiece” will be presented at  8 p.m. Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $8 for students and children. Call 743-8452. Celebration Barn Theater is at 190 Stock Farm Road, off Route 117. For more information, visit www. CelebrationBarn.com.
