Summer classes
LEWISTON/FARMINGTON — Central Maine Community College will begin its annual summer session with first classes starting the week of May 16. Online registration is open and there are still openings in a number of courses.
A complete list of courses available for the summer and fall sessions can be found at www.cmcc.edu. While most of the summer courses are delivered on the Auburn campus, a number of classes are being offered at the Western Maine Center in South Paris and the CMCC/Lincoln County Healthcare Education Center in Damariscotta. Two online/hybrid courses are being offered at Mt. Blue High School in Franklin County.

Plant sale
CANTON — A plant sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, May 28 and 29, at Heritage Park. Perennials, shrubs and berry bushes will be available.
Plants or plant pots can be donated by calling Thomas Adley at 597-2168.
Sales, supper
INDUSTRY —Three events will take place at the Industry Town Hall from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 28.
The annual plant sale will benefit Camp at the Eastward scholarships for local youth.
The yard sale will benefit the Starks Progressive Club. To rent a table (outside but inside if rainy) for $10 call 778-6722.
A baked bean and casserole supper, beginning at 5 p.m., will benefit the United in Christ Presbyterian Church and Starks Progressive Club. Menu includes salads, beverages, breads and desserts. Adults $7, children under 10 $3.
