Nursing mothers

AUBURN — Expectant women and breastfeeding mothers are invited to the La Leche League meeting to be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 11, at 102 Bennett Ave. This month’s discussion will focus on “The Advantages of Breastfeeding For Mother and Baby.” Pregnancy is an ideal time to begin attending meetings, and mothers find continued attendance provides support throughout their breastfeeding experience. School concert

LEWISTON — The Edward Little spring choir concert and the E.L. and Lewiston combined string orchestra concert will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 12, at the Franco-American Center. Free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted.

Trips planned

LISBON — The “Scarlet O’Hatters” of the Lisbon and surrounding areas have planned a trip to Wolfboro, N.H. on July 13. The tour consists of bus, cruise on Mt. Washington boat, train ride with turkey dinner served.

The group will leave at 8 a.m. from exit 80 in Lewiston and return at 6 p.m. There are still seats available. Anyone is welcome. Payment is due by June 1.
