LEWISTON — Michael Ouellette of Lewiston died April 21 of injuries suffered in a crash on Lisbon Road.

Ouellette was traveling alone in his pickup truck when it veered 440 feet off the road and struck a utility pole before rolling over. At the time, police said speed was a factor in the April 10 crash.

A U.S. Army veteran, Ouellette was 54 years old. During his time in military service, serving in Germany from 1973 to 1979, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

Ouellette will be interred at the Maine Veterans Cemetery in Augusta on May 4.
