Legion supper

WEST PARIS — American Legion Ring McKeen Post #151 and Auxiliary will hold a supper at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, followed by the meeting at 7:30 p.m.

Cemetery group

PARIS — Finnish Cemetery Association will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, at the Mission Congregational Church, Church Street, West Paris. Reports will be given and election of officers held. All persons having connections with the cemetery are urged to attend.

Baseball group dinner

NORWAY — Norway Youth Baseball will hold a pasta dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at the Guy E. Rowe School cafeteria. The dinner will include pasta dishes, tossed salad, bread, dessert and drink.

A movie basket and baseball basket will be raffled.

Donkey basketball

SOUTH PARIS — Green Mountain Donkeyball presents donkey basketball at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. Tickets are $6 in advance or $7 at the door. Proceeds will benefit Project Graduation.

There will be refreshments, a 50/50 raffle and a small Chinese auction. The event is sponsored by Northeast Bank, Paris Farmers Union, Hilltop Pools and Spa and Oxford Group.

Historical society

OXFORD — Oxford Historical Society will hold the first meeting of the year at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at the Kay House Museum, Pleasant Street.

After a business meeting the program will be on the history of the Oxford Fire Department give by Tina Smith. Refreshments to follow.

Relay supper

PARIS — A public pasta supper to benefit Relay For Life of Oxford Hills will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, April 29, at American Legion Hall, 12 Church St., South Paris.

Supper includes salad, desserts and make your own ice cream sundae. Tickets are available in advance from Relay For Life committee members or at the door, and cost $7 for adults, $5 for children 12 years and under. Attendees may also participate in raffles and 50/50 drawing.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Relay For Life of Oxford Hills, scheduled for May 21 and 22 at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School.

Yard sale

BETHEL — An indoor yard sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, at West Parish Congregational Church, UCC, on Church Street. Items will include toys, books and tools. Donations will be accepted April 27-29.

Proceeds will benefit the Smile Fund for adults who are in need of restorative dental work and lack the financial resources or insurance to undertake treatments.

Karaoke night

NORWAY — American Legion Post 82 will hold a kraoke night from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 30. Cost is $6. The proceeds will go to the American Legion Post.

Pancake supper

PARIS — A family-style pancake supper will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, at the Paris Fire Station, Western Ave, South Paris. Cost: $3.50 per person, $12 per family (up to four family members), $2 each additional family member.
