MEXICO — Vehicles driven by Kerianne Neans, 22, of Mexico, and Michelle Tripp, 33, of Rumford, collided at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday in front of Roland’s Automotive as both vehicles were traveling east on Route 2.
Oxford County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Tim Holland said Neans slowed down quickly in anticipation of another vehicle backing out onto the road. When she did, the 2003 Ford pickup truck driven by Tripp hit the back of her 1999 Honda sedan, causing $3,000 damage. The pickup truck had $1,000 damage.
